Speed should be right on over the 1300m journey. The scratching of Dreams makes this a whole lot easier for BAY OF ZEA (1) who raced handy and had her chance but found one better over 1200m at Moonee Valley last start. Given a five-week let-up since that run. Meets an inferior line-up this time so she looks the one to beat despite 61kgs. GIN BABA (6) ended a run of four seconds with a dominant win in an Ararat maiden over this distance recently. Meets some better types this evening but from the inside draw she will give a good account. The speedy JUNIORS QUEEN (8) tired and missed the placings over 1400m here a fortnight ago. Fitter for two runs back from a spell and should give some cheek coming back a little in distance. PARDON MY FRENCH (2) is back from a twenty-eight-week spell. Lightly raced mare who progressed nicely last prep. Keep in mind. Market watch on BRULANTE (4) first-up with blinkers on for the first time. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Bay Of Zea.
