Speed should be right on over the 1200m journey. SMASHING (7) has produced three good runs this prep. She was squeezed leaving the start last time but ran on well to finish third of 17 over 1200m at this track. Racing back against her own sex and with Richard Fourie in the saddle can notch up her third-career victory. SEE YOU IN A BIT (4) ran a good race when second of 11 over 1000m on the polytrack last time. It must be noted that the horse that finished fourth that day has come out and won since. She is likely to race on the speed and could prove hard to peg back. DRESSEDTOTHENINES (6) followed up her maiden victory with a good third over 1000m on the Greyville polytrack and was then put out for a spell. She is having her first run from the Sharon Kotzen stable and having placed fresh-up last prep is worth considering. COLD TRUTH (8) returned from a spell last start and looked well in need of the run when finishing 16th of 17 over 1200m at this track when leading into the turn. Placed second-up previously and is in the mix.
