GOING: H(9)

SAPPHIRE HARDWARE MITRE 10 BENCHMARK 66 HANDICAP 1410m

Track: HVY9   Rain (Max: 19)   Rail: +4m .

Exceedingly Hot to take up the running with Win The Day and Final Comment close at hand. WIN THE DAY (12) took care of a small in style last start at Canberra when running string time in front. Is open to further improvement fourth-up and gets in low at the weights with the 2kg claimer engaged. The one to beat. TIDAL RUSH (5) was a determined winner fresh off a 484-day break. Was a touch flat second-up at Kembla Grange but can bounce right back third-up with Loy taking the ride. Big threat. EXCEEDINGLY HOT (9) comes through some hot form races, including his last start success at Wagga already producing three subsequent winners. Kept fresh for this and is drawn to advantage for Keatings who has won three times aboard. Certainly in the mix. Fellow last start winner HELLO JACK (10) also deserves consideration. SUGGESTED PLAY: Win The Day best bet.
