Expecting a slick tempo with Bright Future, Donny's Boy and Away With Red leading the way. ASINANTANGA (1) has shown very good improvement in his last two starts having placed second in both runs. He cost himself winning last time as he hung inwards over the closing stages, finishing a nose from the winner. With a bit of luck from his awkward draw he should go one better. GRAND ALLEGRO (3) finished third in the same race as the top selection last start and should be fighting out the finish once again. CHEERFUL CHARLIE B (5) was unlucky in his last start over this course and distance when finishing a close-up fourth of 12. Racing well and with a bit of luck from his wide draw should finish in the top -three. MR FOX (6) was a well beaten hot favourite last start over 1200m on this course. He would have come on from the run and steps up to 1400m. Richard Fourie retains the ride and is worth another chance.
