Genuine tempo with the speedy Exsperion leading the way. EXSPERION (2) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid third at this track over 1230m. Has the pace and draw to take up a good early position. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. SAFARI (5) finished second two runs back here then improved last time out to score by 2.5 lengths as public elect over 1400m at this track. Meeting a deeper field this time but he deserves plenty of thought. BAIKAL (9) was well in commission last time but ran below expectations when seventh over 1230m at this track. Can bounce back. G T PEARL (3) improved last time out, finishing 3 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 1230m at this track. Likely to hold the form and is a strong top-three prospect.
