Plenty of pace with Littleredcorvette and Our Sassie Anne up front, pressured by Great Escape and Rosesrred. GREAT ESCAPE (3) continued with her consistent form when finishing runner-up by a head as a short-priced favourite fresh up at Otaki nearly 5 weeks ago. Her only win came on this track, and the extra 100m should be no trouble. Follow your money. BRIGIT (7) finished third behind the top pick in the same race last time out, and she will continue to get better with more racing. She may not want it too wet, but she is a must for all top 4 combos. PUDDLE OF MUDD (1) got too far back in a better field than this at Whanganui nearly 3 weeks ago, and he should race a lot more handily from a superior gate this time. Stick with him on an each-way basis. BALLROOM BLITZ (2) had 3 starts late last year before being put aside to wait for some heavy tracks. She will be ready to rumble fresh, so don't risk her. SUGGESTED PLAY: Great Escape should win.
