Shigo Deki and Tessera Gladius possess good early speed and will set a genuine tempo. TESSERA GLADIUS (5) was in a different class last time, registering a dominant 7 lengths win over 1400m at Saga to make it two in a row. Should be prominent from the outset. Will prove tough to beat. SHIGO DEKI (8) broke through for her maiden win over 920m at Nagoya last time, scoring comfortably. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Shaping up nicely and she cannot be underestimated. POWER RACCOON (6) returns after three-and-a-half months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a fifth over 1400m at this track. One of the leading chances. AMPLIFY (2) finished tenth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1400m at this track, beaten 2.75 lengths. This looks a good race for her and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways.
