Tricky one to map with a number of debutants but over this trip there is good speed anticipated. No doubt many will be seduced by the trial form of the unraced, many of whom are well-bred and from the country's best stables, but nothing wrong with the work of MIRADOR (14). Started fav on debut when it took one-time Blue Diamond favourite Big Sky to beat her and then she didn't get warm at start two. Put away after that and toyed with her rivals in her latest Flem jumpout win. Lot to like about the latest trial of SECRET ALLIANCE (13), who scored a soft win under a light ride. Drawn out, but so are several key chances, and it might not be a huge disadvantage if we get a Heavy track. Pretty much the same story for DELAHRA (7), who did it nicely on-pace in a recent Caulfield trial. GOLD CHALICE (4) is a $1m yearling who was given his most serious hitout at the latest jumpout and attacked the line nicely. Worth noting he's Craig Williams' only ride for the day. BOOM BOSS (1) might get run off his feet early but will attack the line if his last jumpout is any guide. SUGGESTED PLAY: Mirador to win.
