Expecting Born To Be Alive to take up the lead at a genuine tempo. LARIDAE (1) found the grade a bit rich here last time but impressed winning at the track prior over this trip as well. Finally draws an inside barrier and with a 1.5kg claim is a decent chance to bounce. PRETTY RHO (7) got too far back at Eagle Farm but ran a strong figure here in Open grade prior. Gives every impression the journey will suit this time around and she has genuine winning claims. TAKUNAI (2) spiked his figure narrowly beaten over a mile at Gatton. Raced forward in that and will get every chance to run out the extra metres. BORN TO BE ALIVE (8) maps well and can show more third-up on a quick return. SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with Laridae.
