Kinvonvie BM70 Handicap MCC Qualifier 1600m

Track: Soft 5   Rain (Max: 15)   Rail: True Entire Circuit. (Pent: 5.43)

They look to roll along early with Dark Harmony and Ambassadorial leading the charge. Cliff Brown has got CASTLE ON HIGH (2) absolutely airborne with two wins to start the campaign before a second placing n a leader-dominated BM64 at Caulfield. Attention probably turned to this series, which culminates with a rich final at Flemington during Melbourne Cup Week, after that and Castle On High was kept up to the mark with a Caulfield jumpout, which he won nicely. THE MUFFIN MAN (6) resumes for a new stable, which has made a habit of getting good results with new stock. This is short of his best but he's been placed in both first-up runs and did beat home all bar Toorak Hcp hope Athanatos over 1600m in town last prep. AMBASSADORIAL (3) is also in a new camp and should give a sight on speed. LAKE VOSTOK (8) is an opportunist who gets a nice set-up here. MISTER BUSINESSMAN (5) was a nice winner first-up, will be fitter for that and suited up to 1600m, especially from the inside gate. SUGGESTED PLAY: Castle On High to win.
