Strong tempo with Twisted Steel, Kings Court and Artie's Eclipse leading the charge. The feature of the day now and TALKANCO (1) goes on top. The Karrakatta winner showed she hadn't lost a yard in her latest trial and the inside barrier should see her in a good position in the run. Gives her rivals weight, but has the class to resume on a winning note. YES QUEEN (5) will be fitter for a couple of trials coming in and was only 0.8L off the winner first-up in the Perth Stakes at this track and trip in March. Parnham rides now and while she will need some luck from the barrier, she looks well placed to put her best foot forward. SNITZALATTE (10) will be fitter for the fresh run and that's a big advantage for a race like this. She's perfectly placed on the map and she drops in weight following her latest effort. Looks to have improvement to come and that's a scary proposition. KINGS COURT (2) has trialled well coming into this and has shown early speed in the past. Can play a leading role. TWISTED STEEL (3) looks a progressive type on resumption who can remain unbeaten. SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with Talkanco in the Max Simmonds.
