Solid tempo set by Kura Reve and Piko Bonds. ZHAXIDELEI (6) produced a good effort last start over this journey at this track, scoring by 1.5 lengths. Has a strong record this course, scoring at three of five starts. Must be respected. KURA REVE (5) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago at Urawa. Not as effective last time out when fourth over 1400m at Urawa, beaten 3.5 lengths after being prominent at the bend. Finds a tougher race but she has the ability to bounce back. PIKO BONDS (3) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1200m at this track, beaten 4.5 lengths into seventh after being in the firing line on the turn. Likely improver with strong prospects. PRESTO RISE (7) resumes in a similar race to his only run last prep back on June 3 when eighth, beaten 5.5 lengths. Among the better hopes.
