Pace strong from Whateley going forward with Hot Chilli Mama kicking up. WHATELEY (2) is looking to bounce back from an uncharacteristically poor run at Sandown Hillside last time out, perhaps not enjoying the soft conditions on the day when fading to finish at the tail. Prior to that he was in excellent form and provided the stable are happy to run him, his prior form stacks up very strongly. SUPER TROOPER (5) is building nicely this time in, placing in his past couple. He found the line well to be beaten a neck when last seen at Pakenham Synthetic and while drawn wide again, could be out getting to the best part of the track. FABRICE (6) has genuine post-race excuses (cardiac arrhythmia) when dropping right out here last time in a clear forgive run. Prior to that he was racing consistently and deserves another chance. FRIDGE MONSTER (9) is going well without winning this time in, never finishing worse than fourth. Gets to 1400m for the first time which should suit now. Each way. TRUFFLE FINDER (3) needs to find his best but has claims if he can do so. SUGGESTED PLAY: Whateley to win.
