They should get along early on with plenty of speed on show. MISS TAKES (4) ran a fair race over 1200m last time. He lost two lengths leaving the start but stayed on well at the finish. If jumping on level terms should be hard to roll. TOMMY SHELBY (6) showed some improvement in his last start over this distance at Turffontein. He is a progressive type and with 55kgs on his back, he may have more to come. AFTERBURN (1) has shown improvement with the blinkers fitted. He should have finished closer to the winner last time as he hung inwards in the final 200m. If keeping on a straight line, he should be right there at the finish. SECRET WARRIOR (7) resumed from a spell last start and finished seventh over 1200m at this track. Plenty of scope for improvement and jumping from the inside draw is worth considering.
