Kimon Carrington should spear straight to the front of the small field. SMART SCOPE (6) recorded a gutsy maiden victory last time out over 1230m at this track, scoring by half a length. Looks well placed and he is sure to go well. KIMON CARRINGTON (4) showed good early pace over 1400m at this track when resuming last time and kept going to score by 0.8 lengths. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he is good enough to play a major role. YUNA PINK GOLD (5) improved sharply on her eighth two starts back at this track with success as public elect over 1400m at this track three weeks ago, getting home by a neck after being in the firing line on the bend. Finds a tougher race but this looks well within her grasp. HERO F A (2) performed above expectations last time over 1400m at this track, getting the prize by 0.8 lengths. Hard to fault winning form.
