Plenty of speed runners engaged, with Banha Bridge, Teo Torriatte and Chabal prominent. BANHA BRIDGE (2) has fair consistent form lines to his credit. He stayed on well at the finish over 2000m on this course last time. Gavin Lerena is booked to ride and he may be able to get the best out of him when it matters most. DOUGLAS DRAGON (1) ran on and tried hard when finishing second over 2600m on the Turffontein Inside course last time. He won his only attempt over this course and distance. He is an honest type and merits healthy respect. TEO TORRIATTE (7) had to overcome a wide draw over 1800m last time. She has finished third in both her efforts over this course and distance. She is likely to race on the speed once again and should give the males a decent run for their money. STORM AHEAD (10) has some good recent form lines to his credit. He gets the blinkers fitted which should keep his mind on the task at hand.
