BUNBURY AW   03 Jul 2025

GOING: N

BUNBURY VOLKSWAGEN HANDICAP 1275m

Track: Good     Rail: True.

There should be a bit of pressure with Girls Day Out and Military Jane pressing forward in advance of Ripper Farooq and Shasfa. GIRLS DAY OUT (2) peaks off narrow defeats in stronger Maidens - heavily bet her last two. Metro trained and is thrown in with the 4kg claim. She's likely to control the race and will lead them a merry chase. RIPPER FAROOQ (1) was around the mark at Ascot and Scarpside before being outgraded and spaced here on the turf at Stakes level. Much better placed and has claims. POINT OF CONFLICT (4) resumed with an easy Maiden win at Northam in a quick return to form. She's in a leading stable and has more to offer. Has to be kept onside. ONE TARGET (7) was plain on the grass here last time in a bit stronger, but his effort at Pinjarra prior wasn't too bad. He gives away starts but can run into the minor slot. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Girls Day Out.
