Plenty of pace with Private Jumbo and Burj Emperor leading from Heff. Tipping PRIVATE JUMBO (1) improves quickly second up. The fresh effort at Sandown Hillside was a nice pipe opener off a seven month spell, working home solidly for a narrow fifth over 1300m. Comes back a notch or two here and his form last time in reads very well for this. AUTUMN STORM (2) resumes. He'll get over more ground but showed plenty of ability going through the grades last time in. May be out-paced early but has the class to be staying on powerfully late. BURJ EMPEROR (4) wasn't beaten far first up at Pakenham Synthetic after showing early speed. Was off a long spell there so he should have taken plenty of fitness improvement. Can roll forward again and take catching. GLOVE ARTIST (3) was a tidy BM58 winner at Geelong when last seen and won't need to improve much off that to be figuring here. CRYSTANADO (6) is racing consistently and an each way chance again. SUGGESTED PLAY: Private Jumbo to win.
