SCOOTER B (9) has chased boom pacer Cyclone Jordy when placed in both starts this time in, last week finishing 4m away as runner-up in the Caduceus Club Classic. Doesn't have to tackle that rival tonight so can peak and win third up. QUINTON (8) has been competitive of late and kept the ball rolling last time when fourth at this venue. Interesting to see what unfolds from this wide draw but did a god job for second two back. Could break through. DAWSON (7) wasn't too far away in his first local outing. That was his first start for five weeks so can improve. ACUSHLA MACHREE (6) deserves respect off a win from a 60m handicap two back at Central Wheatbelt.
