GOING: G

DOWNUNDER SULKY COMPANY 1720m

Track: GOOD

SAMKERR (13) has been freshened since a narrow defeat in a Gold Bracelet consolation at Bathurst but won the last two times she raced in Victoria, scoring in her lone attempt at this circuit and distance three back. Good enough to overcome the back row draw. GOLDEN SHOOZ (11) kicked off the campaign with back-to-back placings before leading for a dominant win by 8 metres at Geelong last start. No favours expected from this draw but she is in good form. MY WAY (2) draws well and has claims off a win from a wide barrier two back at Ballarat. STEEL THE MOMENT (5) has a solid record here and is in the mix following a fourth at his most recent appearance at Bendigo.

Two back was well beaten into fifth behind Sugar Pie Honey at Bathurst over 1730m in a 3yo No NR F on March 24 at $4.20. Then a handy effort when a close second after a quick start, behind Dolly Rocket at Bathurst over 1730m in a 3yo No NR F on March 28 at $1.30. Strong claims.
