TU TANGATA (10) took on the big guns and performed well when fifth in the G1 Rowe Cup here last week. Comes back to a distance where he has won before and is nicely placed dropping in class. BRAVEHEARTHIGHLANDER (3) made a strong return from a layoff with a win at this circuit and distance last week. A nice draw on the front line should ensure a cosy run. Has the ability to make it two on end. CASTANA (6) was down the track last time but had put together a string of top-four finishes prior so is worth another chance. Both career wins of VISCOUNT MACKENDON (4) have come at this circuit and distance and he is proven second-up so looks a likely improver.
