MAJOR TORQUE (9) finished third last start over 2600m at this track, beaten 3 metres. Best recent result was a win at Central Southland Raceway three starts ago. Will need a bit of luck negotiating a very wide starting position. Primary contender if anywhere near his best. TACT TEENA (3) scored at Mt Harding three runs ago. Returned to something like that form last time out when second over 2000m at Rangiora, beaten half a metre. A nice draw on the front line should ensure a cosy run. Steps up a level but she is capable of running a big race. THE COALMAN (6) didn't do a bad job when fifth over 2600m at this track last time out. HAPPY HARPER (7) battled on okay last start when finishing fifth of 12 over 1980m here last start when sent out at long odds. Can place.
