MEANT TO BE (10) stretched his winning run to seven with another feature win in the Northern Derby at this circuit last start. The margin wasn't huge but he knows how to get the job done and should be near peak fitness third-up. The one to beat. HIGHER POWER (2) is getting closer to toppling Meant To Be having chased him as runner-up in their last three clashes, missing by just a neck in the Northern Derby. Races well third-up and a good draw gives him best chance yet to turn the tables. HABIBTI PAT (6) was a beaten favourite when third against her own sex in the Northern Oaks last week but came from a tough barrier for third to the top two selections in the Derby prior. Go well. YA RITE DARL (9) can feature again after beating Habibti Pat home as runner-up last week while FRAZZLED (7) draws wider but deserves respect of her Oaks win.
