WORDS (7) was fourth but far from disgraced when she dropped back to the mile here last week. Had recorded three wins and a second from her other four starts and owns a good record at this longer distance so has strong claims. ROY KENT (2) has been racing consistently since winning here four back and performed well for fourth in a stronger line-up last start. Contender. THE BETTOR DEAL (5) was eased out of it as a hot favourite last week but had put the writing on the wall with a good second here two back so deserves another chance. BRUNTWOOD BRIGADE (6) is worth thought after coming from a similar barrier for a last-start win at this circuit and distance.
