PINSEEKER (6) has been competitive of late and kept the ball rolling last time when 7 metres from the winner in fourth over 2600m at Rangiora. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is capable of another big performance. HARRISON JOHN (2) made it two wins from two runs this prep last start when he got the cash by 2.5 metres over 2600m at this track. Sure to enjoy an economical run from this draw. Meeting a deeper field this time but he is up to the challenge. RAKERO ROCKET (5) has a strong record here which is significant. Finished fourth over 2200m at Alexandra Park last time out and is worth considering. VESSEM (10) cannot be left out after solid recent performances, the latest a sound second at this track over 1980m.
