Form prior to that had been strong with two wins and a second from the previous three starts. Has the class to take this out. ULTIMATE EMPIRE (9) could only manage third last start over 1609m at this track, beaten 4.5 metres, after victory at the previous appearance over 1760m at Narrabri. Meets a similar line up and he can make amends. HES GOT THE LOOK (5) hasn't been far from the placings in the last two outings and this looks suitable. IRE OF THE DRAGON (7) is a chance after a string of sound recent performances, the latest a solid fourth at this circuit over 1609m.
