Small field but Nervous Witness, Whizz Kid and Beauty Waves can ensure a genuine tempo. BEAUTY WAVES (6) has yet to miss a cheque on this course and his last couple of starts have been very good, including his last run for second here just over six weeks ago when finishing a short-head back from the winner. He faces his toughest test to date but did win a lead-up trial very nicely. Stick with him. BABY CRYSTAL (5) has only been caught in the final stages in his last couple of starts, losing by narrow margins on both of those occasions. He has 5.5 kilos less to carry this time and can see it through this time. COPARTNER AMBITION (4) stuck on fairly well when resuming from a spell here 8 days ago and he normally improves with racing. He benefits from a kilo claim and should be right in the finish this time. WHIZZ KID (3) has been battling to find his best this season but did win a recent trial which could indicate that he is returning to some good form again. He is too good to risk in this.
