REVALENE (10) has always promised a bit and scored a narrow maiden win first-up at Swan Hill, scoring by half a length as a heavily backed $1.70 favourite. Fitter and should prove hard to catch again. MANSIERE (5) resumes from a spell of 12 weeks. His form last time in reads well, not far off some Saturday class horses. Only needs to bring that level to take this out. SILVER WAVES (11) resumes. Three runs last time in were good, the highlight being a third placing at Caulfield in a BM70. Drawn very wide here but she's a handy type who will be hard to hold out. HOLY TYCOON (14) was poor last time at Seymour but had been in good form prior and can bounce back. WALTER SPUR (8) next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Revalene to win.
