Colonel is the likely leader at a strong tempo. MY INTELLIGENT (11) has been racing very consistently and is back up in grade after finishing runner-up in his last couple of starts on each of the Hong Kong tracks. He is down 7 kilos on his most recent run at Sha Tin when he was only a head back from the winner and the key this time is his big swing in the draws. On top. GOLDEN RISE (4) has not really lived up to expectations and needs to find something extra to repay the punters that keep on sending him out so short in the markets. He is again likely to be one of the favourites in an open line-up and is worth another chance. COLONEL (12) is a speedy gelding who is building his form nicely with a couple of solid recent efforts down in class at Sha Tin. He has a better record on this circuit and a win here would not be a big surprise. CIRCUIT SEVEN (8) has normally found 1200 metres a touch too far but ran his best race yet over the trip when runner-up here just over four weeks ago. He is well worth each-way consideration.
