Isledon to go to the lead at a genuine tempo. ISLEDON (8) finally returned to the winner's list last start when he shadowed the leader then quickened impressively over 1435m at Grafton. Up in class and back in trip which isn't an ideal scenario, but she is well in after the claim and does have a couple of wins at the distance to her name. NEVADA SMOKE (12) did a good job to finish third over this distance at Taree two runs back then struggled in heavy going over more ground last time. Poorly drawn but a big chance to get back to form in this more suitable contest. RUN RORY RUN (4) stalked the pace then proved a shade too strong over 1405m at Coffs Harbour recently. Three-time winner at this journey so expect he can hold that good form. WONDERWHEN (2) resumes. In the money 6/7 when fresh from a break so don't rule her out. JEUNE DREAMON (9) backs-up six days after a driving win at Coffs Harbour. Cannot be ruled out. SUGGESTED PLAY: Isledon each-way in a competitive race to close the card.
