Crystanado should lead but there are a few other speedy types who can keep him honest.
SECRET STONES (7) broke through for a maiden win last start at Cranbourne having raced consistently all preparation. From the inside draw the gelding should land in a prominent spot and with a 2kg claim can give a great sight again. CRYSTANADO (5) showed a good change of speed to sprint clear for an easy win first-up and looks to have upside being only lightly raced. Can go on with it here. ARTRESE (3) should be fitter for his first-up run when unplaced at Geelong and shapes as an each-way chance. DIAMOND WAR (12) won two starts ago but faded to finish ninth at Kerang last start after covering ground. From a soft draw here look for him to be running home stronger at the finish this time. SUGGESTED PLAY: Happy to go with Secret Stones.
