Winning rider Minoru Miyagawa retains the mount. Beautifully placed and looks set to extend his picket fence. CAPTIF (5) was an emphatic winner last time over 1300m at this track with today's rider Shuji Akaoka engaged. Should park just off the speed. Best figures should see him run well. SURPRISE VIEW (8) found plenty to salute by 2 lengths three runs back at this track before filling a minor placing at his last two starts. Has a fine record here with two wins from five starts. Shapes as one to consider. DANKE SCHON (6) turned in a better run last start, beaten 4 lengths into fourth over 1300m at this track. Well placed to turn things around.
