Strong tempo from the outset as a number of them push forward, with Fatal Gem, Princess Izzy and My Flower Fate leading the charge. RED PALACE (11) resumed from a spell last start and looked well in need of the run. She would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. She has won twice and finished second once from four starts over this distance. Rates well as a leading player. RAINBOW LORIKEET (4) is back from a spell of ten weeks and does go well when fresh-up, including a win to launch last prep over 1400m at Durbanville. Solid each-way chance. PRINCESS IZZY (2) got home by 1.5 lengths last time out over 1400m at this track. Has a fair record at this track with a win and two placings. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. Well worth considering in this line-up. MY FLOWER FATE (3) has recorded four placings from seven runs this prep. Continued the trend last start when third over 1400m at this track. Nicely placed to take this out.
