Moderate tempo with Percussion Prince leading the way. PERCUSSION PRINCE (1) only just missed at Pinjarra last time out and steps out to the mile for the first time. Should be prominent from the outset and Steve Parnham remaining in the saddle is a positive sign. Finds a very suitable race and just has to run up to his last start effort to be winning SNIP OF GOSSIP (2) hits this third-up after finishing 3.1L away as favourite at Pinjarra last time out. Now out to the mile for the first time, he is trending the right way coming into this. Can make his presence felt. FULL OF LIFE (10) ran on strongly over this trip at Pinjarra and looks to have plenty of upside. She's likely to get back from the draw once again, but if the pace is on up front she'll be storming home late in the race. LIEN HYPHEN (8) drops back to this trip after being well beaten in recent efforts and is not to be discounted. DESERT EDGE (4) can improve out in trip with Parnham hopping in the irons. SUGGESTED PLAY: Keen on Percussion Prince.
