Pace looks strong with Turning Up and Mild Hunter pressing forward to challenge Grand Faubourg who is helped by the ace draw. ANTHURIUM (14) made a strong late bid but just failed to pick up the winner when first-up last start over 1200m at Nakayama Dirt. Will strip a lot fitter this time around. Ready to go one better. ECORO ARES (4) was in the money at first two runs from a spell then missed the frame last time finishing a 2.75 lengths sixth over 1200m. Not far away latest and should be at peak now. Previous form sound and rates among the leading chances. YOUNG WORLD (12) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when fourth, beaten 1.4 lengths, over 1200m at Nakayama Dirt. Should be peaking now and is a key runner. EMERALD BEACH (10) is back at the races for the first time since February 24. Scored over 1200m at Kyoto Dirt at the start of last prep. Worth plenty of thought.
