Strong early tempo with Tokai La Mer and Sakura Current leading the way. COLOUR INDEX (2) last appeared four weeks ago over 2600m at Fukushima when she finished ninth. This is her first run for the Tetsuya Nagase stable as she drops into NAR level. Bright prospects if she can hold her form coming into this event. TROIS CHARME (11) was last at the races when he scored over 1400m at this track on December 10. Hard to knock form this course having never missed the frame including two wins and one placing. Has found a suitable race. KAR SMOKY (9) produced a good run two starts back to finish second but disappointed last time when out of the placings at this track over 1300m. Tackling a more suitable race this time so he is perfectly placed to make amends. NAMURA SWAGGER (4) was in contention on the bend but turned in a disappointing run last time out over 1300m at this track after a nice win the start prior. Perfectly placed and is sure to be there at the finish.
