BRANDY SNAP HANDICAP 1200m Track: GOOD
Genuine tempo with Ka Ying Rising leading the way. KA YING RISING (8) is a very progressive gelding who continues to work through the grades impressively. He was a comfortable 1.5L winner last time out and drops 7kg as he rises in grade today. Drawn much better for Purton this time and if he can run up to that level again, he should be winning. GORGEOUS WIN (11) was beaten in this grade last time out, but only by 1.8L when jumping the favourite. Now drops 1kg today and while he may need some luck from the draw, his previous efforts suggest he's the main danger. PACKING TREADMILL (3) stuck on well in the Sprint Cup after a disappointing effort two back. Barrier 1 should see him get every possible chance though and his best is good enough to be in the finish. REWARD SMILE (9) is better than he showed first-up and getting back onto the turf suits. Can bounce back.
