A solid tempo on the cards with Jasper Jack taking charge. Grade 2 placegetter SMART COURAGE (12) returns from a spell of ten weeks. Was safely held at the only appearance last prep when tenth over 1400m in the G3 Hankyu Hai at Hanshin. Sound record at this distance with two wins and four minor placings from eight runs and is expected to feature. LABELING (10) is a talented entire who was well held last time out in the tougher Lord Derby Challenge Trophy won by Parallel Vision over 1600m at Nakayama, beaten 5.5 lengths into eighth. Grade 1 placed and this looks a more suitable assignment. JUSTIN SKY (13) was safely held when resuming from a spell behind Borzakovskiy in stakes class at Hanshin over 1600m, beaten 3.5 lengths into tenth. Well placed and looks a key runner. Grade 3 placegetter CARRO VELOCE (8) was last at the races when he finished eighth over 1400m in the G3 Hankyu Hai at Hanshin on February 25. Definite top-three chance.
