Fast early tempo likely from Salvatore setting the tone from an outside draw, joined by Kazu Presto. SALVATORE (15) won at this track and distance at his last outing 12 weeks ago. Yet to win fresh but loves the track and trip and should be hard to stop. DURA RESILIENT (6) is back at the races for the first time since February 10. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last time in work over 1800m at Kyoto Dirt. Comes here with definite claims. SMART AMBER (1) held on well to finish second last start over 1400m at Chukyo Dirt, beaten 0.8 lengths when fresh from a spell. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. EXULT (7) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing fifth at Chukyo Dirt over 1400m. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot return to winning ways.
