Plenty of speed engaged with Peptide Sparkle, Rhein Artemis and Dir Brand going forward ahead of Fire Star and Excel Black. PEPTIDE SPARKLE (7) was well in commission last start over 1400m at this track when second. Is a winner at this circuit. Will be hard to stop. EXCEL BLACK (4) improved last time out to score by half a length over 1600m at Kawasaki. Ideally placed and is sure to play a major role. SURGE (8) last time out scored by a head over 1500m at Funabashi. Haruto Nakayama scored on him last time and retains the ride. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot score again. RHEIN ARTEMIS (5) resumes from a spell of nine weeks. Looked close to a win before that break, finishing off with a minor placing over 1400m at this track. Good effort to kick-off last prep when in the money at this track over 800m. Has ability and is worth including.
