Went under narrowly on the heavy (9) track with a courageous second over 1300m at Wagga. Nose roll goes on and should prove too good for these. TEXAN STAR (7) fourth-up for this and has a fitness edge over the bulk of these. Went back from the outside draw and savaged the line with a tidy fourth over 1280m at Canberra Acton. Will go back again and sure to be around the money. HARLEM TICKLE (10) hot and cold mare yet to break through in eight starts. Has further improvement at her third run back and stays in the mix on her home track. FRED ASTERN (5) improving with racing and comes here off a let-up. Given the gun run and was fair to the line when fourth over 1200m at Queanbeyan. Deserves another chance. SUGGESTED PLAY: Fortythreebeans looks too good for this lot.
