Expecting Elronte to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sharp trip. SUM INVICTUS (5) is struggling to break through with his get back racing pattern. Just under a month between runs when he launched late to finish fifth over 1300m at the Gold Coast. Will appreciate this company and well placed today. GAYLORD (2) close to his top for this after the two mixed runs with the big weights. Undefeated at this track and gets every chance to race a touch closer from the good gate. BRING ME SAKI (4) tough on-pace gelding who doesn't have to improve much after failing narrowly with a nose third over 1200m at Beaudesert. Respect with the map favours. ELRONTE (9) lightly raced filly with the upside to win this. Excellent return when she motored late for a game third from the wide draw over 1100m at Ipswich. Will be warming up late.
