FORTES (1) turned in a fine effort to score by 4 lengths at this track and distance when resuming from a spell last start. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. GIFTED ABELIA (5) returned from a spell three weeks ago when she was beaten 20 lengths into seventh over 1400m at this track. Strips fitter and can feature. SHAKE IT UP (6) was responsible for a solid effort last time out when second at this track over 850m, beaten 1.5 lengths. Ryoto Tsukamoto has registered two minor placings when on board. Has winning claims on best figures. LENIS (2) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 850m at this track, beaten 11 lengths into eighth. Better than recent efforts suggest.
