KITANO BOSTON (4) has been safely held at his last couple of runs, the latest when 17th over 1600m at Kyoto. Has struggled on the JRA circuit recently but is better placed here. ARC NOIR (5) is returning from a spell of ten weeks. Finished 13th at Nakayama over 1600m at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Akira Kimura.
