Strong tempo assured with Figurante and Cider With Rosie leading the way over Where's My Sock. WHERE'S MY SOCK (10) resumed and found the line nicely beaten a short head over 975m at Swan Hill when coming back from a break. Picked up impressively in that and the longer sprint will suit this time around. Draws inside and will be hard to stop. WILD RUBY (11) improved last start, doing her best work late over 1200m at Echuca, beaten only a head. Gives away starts but has John Allen on for the first time, and she should be storming home. RECYCLE KING (6) resumed at Kyneton over 1106m, beaten 3.5 lengths. Had to do it the hard way from a wide gate and draws awkwardly again. Has the ability and can't be ruled out. HUGHIE'S SPIRIT (2) drops back 194m in trip and will find this easier than Ballarat. Came from the back to miss a nose here prior, and will also be running into it. SUGGESTED PLAY: Where's My Sock appeals most.
