Key runner who should feature in the finish. COSMO ESMERALDA (7) finished fourth when resuming from a spell for a new stable and tackling a dirt track for the first time at this track over 1400m last start. Backmarker who gets home hard. Could be tough to hold out. HINANO MARCHS (2) proved too strong two runs ago here but couldn't follow that up last time out when sixth over 1400m at this track. Finds a more suitable contest and can get the job done. LAGOON (8) is on a quick turnaround after a moderate tenth over 1400m at this track a week-and-a-half ago. Likely improver with top-three prospects.
