Solid tempo with Zale leading from Longinus and Jacob's Time. BLOW IN (4) was strong through the line at his second run back when fifth to Urafiki in a decent rating contest over 1200m at Canberra. Will relish the good tempo and prove hard to hold out. LONGINUS (8) showed a ton of early speed on resumption before knocking up in the straight with a respectable fifth over 1200m at this track. Gets a better set-up for this and looking for this trip and further now. Top-three contender. MEET ME IN BONDI (5) gave his all with the 59kg at his second run back when seventh over 1500m at Newcastle. Gets a more genuine tempo for this and can take a hand in the finish. ARTFUL PERSUASION (1) strips fitter and gets a better set-up for this with the winkers going. Will appreciate the claim in this easier contest after finishing a respectable ninth over 1300m at Rosehill in Midway class. No shock to see him take this out. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 4,8,5,1.
