Hot pace certain with Elusive Eagle, Sutherland and Zouchase keen to take up the running. KINGSLAND (11) dug deep to score two runs back then was beaten 5 lengths into fifth over 1200m at Toowoomba last time five-and-a-half weeks ago. Better placed this time and is a genuine threat. SUTHERLAND (5) turned in a modest performance when fourth last time out over 800m at Kilcoy, beaten 5 lengths after being in contention on the corner. That followed a win at this track at the previous outing. Finds a suitable race and can play a major role. The well-related SIR CARTER (1) (half to G2 winner Oak Door) finished eighth over 1640m at Doomben at his most recent appearance on August 6. Yet to win first up but generally runs well with three minor placings from six tries and is a definite top-three chance. MY NAME IS (3) was in contention on the turn and finished third last start at the first run back from a spell over 800m at Ipswich, beaten 3.5 lengths. Placed to advantage so expect another forward showing. SUGGESTED PLAY: Kingsland to bounce back.
