YOTARO (9) returned to winning form as favourite last start, scoring by 1.5 lengths over today's journey at this track. Has a sound record at this journey with a win and two minor placings. Definite winning hope. SORGENTE PO (5) closed last prep with a disappointing fifth over 1200m at this track. Back for a new campaign with a change of rider. Should be poised just off the lead. One of the main contenders. KO OLINA LAGOON (12) is a maiden who has filled a minor placing two times in nine starts. Never a threat when resuming last start over 1200m at this track, finishing 8 lengths from the winner in ninth. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Not to be discounted.
