Solid tempo with Nirmata leading from Truce and Arapawa. TRUCE (7) made the perfect start here last month when scoring on debut. Not as effective last time when beaten by a barnstorming winner but still stuck on strongly to grab second. Backs up quickly and gets a great chance to atone. NIRMATA (2) is a progressive type who should be further improved third-up. Drops back to a sprinting trip off a 41-day freshen and can sprint sharply. Don’t take lightly. ARAPAWA (5) is ticking along nicely in his debut prep and finds a suitable race. Went under last time at Muswellbrook as favourite but drops in trip and gets weight relief with the claimer engaged. Worth another chance. NEVERMISTA (4) is busting to break through. Gets the chance to settle closer this time and can play another major role on the quick back-up. Don’t dismiss. SUGGESTED PLAY: Truce looks hard to beat.
